Overview
One of a pair of cottages, located on a quiet lane
in the heart of the forest, where forest ponies, cattle and donkeys
wander freely. A peaceful, relaxing setting for a break anytime throughout
the year.
Complete refurbishment of the cottage was completed and now provides
a very high standard of luxury accommodation.
The cottage is beautifully furnished and decorated to a high standard
retaining original features, with solid oak floors, stripped pine
doors a woodburner in the dining room and an open fire in the lounge.
The fully equipped kitchen with its beautiful slate floor looks
out to the back garden. A welcome pack will await your arrival
including Fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, chocolates, tea, coffee,
sugar, eggs, bacon, sausages, cereal, milk, freshly baked bread
& orange juice. We also don't expect you to bring those necessities
like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls etc..
its all there for you to use.
The house provides all the modern conveniences that you would
expect including a flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD player, CD
Player/Radio, Bose IPod Docking Sound System, Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher,
Microwave, Freezer, Hairdryer, Iron, Breadmaker & a Nespresso
Coffee Maker. We have recently added a telephone, free wireless
broadband and a PC. There is also a selection of CD's, DVD's,
Games & books.
Upstairs the bathroom has stripped wooden floors, a separate double
shower and a cast iron French slipper bath. Towels and bathrobes
are included.
There are two double bedrooms, one has a double antique bed and
furniture while the second bedroom has twin beds that can also be
linked together to make a Queen size bed. All linen is provided.
A travel cot is available to put in either room.
Available for the smaller guest is a Kuster highchair, stair
gates, bedguard, children's crockery and cutlery, monitor, nightlight,
room thermometer, sterliser, toys, games, books, DVD's, bath toys,
step stool, toddler table and chairs, colouring, doll's pushchair
& cot and a play tent. Babysitting can be organised too.
For sunnier warm days and evenings at home there is a table and
chairs in the garden with a Barbecue including a bag of complimentary
charcoal. A picnic basket for those Forest picnics and when the
sun is really shining beach towels and even a bucket and spade
for the smaller guest to enjoy a day at the beach.
There is ample parking for at least two cars in the drive and
a large enclosed back garden.
